We're Back, and We're Just Getting Started
It's official: FYMM is back in person. After a stretch of staying connected online, we're thrilled to open our doors again and get back to what we do best: making music together, face to face, in real rooms with real instruments and real energy.
There's nothing quite like it. The energy of a shared room, the spontaneous jam that turns into a new idea, the feedback you can only get when someone's standing right next to you. That's what FYMM has always been about, and we've missed having it back in full. (Our one-to-one lessons never stopped, but now we're bringing back the full room, too.)
We're using this comeback to build toward something bigger, and we want you along for the ride.
What's Coming to FYMM
ποΈ Music Production Classes (coming 2027). Learn how to make professional-quality music from your own setup. No fancy studio required, just the right skills, the right guidance, and the confidence to actually finish tracks instead of leaving them half-done on a hard drive.
π¬ Music Video Production (Coming 2027). We're teaching artists and studios how to shoot great music videos on a real-world budget. Big visuals don't have to mean big spending, and we'll show you exactly how to stretch every dollar without the final product looking cheap.
π A Platform for Music Learners, Not Just Students (Coming 2027). We're building out a whole new side of FYMM: a hub for music-related job postings, honest information about how the music business actually works, and links to grants and scholarships from other charities and nonprofits, plus grants we'll be funding ourselves for creatives who need a boost.
π Specialized Lessons for Disabled Kids (TBA). This one's close to our hearts. We're expanding our program to include specialized lessons for kids with autism and other conditions, because every young musician deserves lessons built around them: their pace, their strengths, their way of learning.
π More Support for Adults Chasing a Career in Music (Coming 2027). Music doesn't stop mattering once you're grown. We're expanding our charity to give real support to adults who still crave a career in music, whether that means stepping into the spotlight as an artist, or building a career behind the scenes as a producer, engineer, manager, or anything in between. Passion doesn't have an age limit, and neither should opportunity.
Why We're Doing This
Music shouldn't be gatekept by money, location, age, or circumstance. FYMM has always been about giving people the tools to make music on their own terms, and this next chapter is about doing that louder, wider, and for more people than ever, at every stage of life.
Whether you're 14 and picking up a mic for the first time, or 34 and finally chasing the career you always wanted, there's a place for you here.
